Karen Ellis

Chief Financial Officer

 

If Josh is the Captain of the Cotterpin ship, Karen is the rudder. As CFO and majority owner, she provides the financial accountability, stability, and risk management necessary for the company to thrive.

 

Her 20 years of corporate accounting experience has informed the development of our financial systems and fine-tuned the mechanics behind the curtain.  Streamlined invoicing, purchasing and payroll make the machine hum.

 

A part of Cotterpin Construction from the very beginning, Karen works with Josh and David to develop growth strategies and ensure commitments are kept. Karen has a B.S. Accounting from Georgia State University - J. Mack Robinson College of Business.

A busy Mom of two, Karen takes everything in stride and finds time to contribute to community organizations.
